In order to serve the public better, our Department of Corrections is streamlining inmate release and registrations for felons and sex offenders.
Starting May 20, 2024 inmate release will occur at 7 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and midnight Monday through Friday. Weekends and Holidays will remain on the current 24-hours a day cycle.
Felony and prison release registration will occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sex offender registration will be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays as needed between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 p.m. Sex offenders must first register with the Criminal Investigation Bureau before coming to the jail.
Again these changes will become effective May 20, 2024
