COMMUNICATIONS
The sheriff's office Communications Center is a public safety answering point, answering all cellular 911 and all landline 911 calls throughout Putnam County. Each dispatcher is certified to provide emergency medication information to callers while field units are responding to the location.

The center receives more than 80,000 calls a year, with the number of calls increasing each year. In addition to answering calls for the sheriff's office, dispatchers also receive calls for the incorporated cities of Palatka and Crescent City as well as the towns of Interlachen and Welaka for their police departments, as well as all emergency calls for Fire-Rescue.

If you need assistance anywhere in Putnam County and call 911, our dispatch teams will handle the call.
